Choose to go for the full 2 day challenge, or sign up for your preferred single day option...

This 83 mile circular trail contains 14250ft of ascent, and takes in some fantastic mountain and valley level scenery, and allows you to explore the industrial heritage of the slate villages throughout Snowdonia.

You’ll go away with a weekend’s worth of great views and memories - and a completion award.

The route starts at Porth Penrhyn near Bangor and ends at Bethesda and takes in villages such as Llanllechid, Bethesda, Dinorwig, Llanberis, Waunfawr, Nantlle, Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert, Croesor, Ffestiniog and Penmachno. We'll be guiding you around over the 2 days, with each day being around 40 miles in length - and there'll be the usual checkpoint support and backup provided, as on the rest of our supported challenges.

Day 1 - Bangor to Croesor (39.5 Miles) Start 6.30am at Porth Penrhyn

Day 2 - Croesor to Bethesda (43.5 Miles) Start 6.30am at Beddgelert

At the halfway point at the end of Day 1, we can get you back to the start point or your accommodation nearby, and we'll meet up for the start of Day 2!

We are offering a limited number of spaces for this challenge, and will be providing the following, over the course of the 2 days, to make your journey along the trail, as safe, stress free and enjoyable as possible:

Fully Qualified Guides – Over 2 full days - leading you every step of the way – you’ll have no worries about getting lost, just relax and enjoy your surroundings and the challenge!

Checkpoint support – Each day is split into 6 sections – approximately 6-9 miles in length, and at the end of each one we’ll meet you with your spare gear should you wish to change your clothing policy, first aid provision and lots of food and drink to keep you going!

Safety and first aid cover – your in safe hands, your guides will be fully qualified when it comes to outdoor first aid, in addition we will have all the necassary skills and equipment to look after you if something goes wrong, at the end of each section.

Replenishment – Whilst it’s recommended that you carry some snacks and water on sections yourself, we’ll both provide and transport suitable foodstuffs and water/energy drinks and will have them waiting for you at the end of each section throughout the day.

Transport – If the worst happens and you can’t continue, through injury or fatigue – we’ll take care of getting you back to where you need to be. We’ll also carry any spare clothing/footwear or anything else (within reason!) that you may want at some point during the day. Anything that you feel you may need over the course of the challenge, we'll transport it for you in our vehicle. As the trail starts in Bangor, and finishes in Bethesda, those who have left their vehicle at the start, can be transported back to Bangor at the end of Day 2. You'll just have to take care of getting yourself to the start points for each daqy.

We will be averaging around 4mph moving pace – a brisk walking pace for most, with rest stops at each CP, so the emphasis is on keeping going, not speed! Think of walking briskly the climbs, jogging the flat sections and running the descents and you’ll end up with this average pace, or thereabouts. The pace will be dictated by the Run Leaders.
