Our weekender involves some great exercise, wonderful company, some education and plenty of laughs. With a range of activities to suit all abilities, you can be sure to have a worthwhile weekend away with us. Our friendly and professional guides/instructors will provide a structured programme to suit all tastes, but with that structure comes a real emphasis on fun and the overall experience.
All this in a beautiful location, our accommodation is the Outdoor Alternative site at Rhoscolyn, on the Isle of Anglesey and provides access to wonderful beaches and coastal scenery right on the doorstep. OutFit have exclusive use of the Mulran accommodation block and will be providing a great activity programme for our weekender participants!
You can go for the whole 2 night/3 day package or, alternatively, just join in on a single day.
You’ll get to choose from a wide range of activities... Guided Walks, Trail Runs, Navigation & Orienteering Challenges, Pilates, Beach Workouts, Nordic Walking & Running and much more....
Anticipated Schedule (It's a relaxed and informal affair - so this is flexible....but this is a general idea of what will be going on!)
It's designed to give you the OPTION of a range of activities, whilst giving you lots of free time to do what you want and enjoy this fabulous place.
4pm - Arrival, settle in and welcome drinks & snacks
6pm - Guided Coastal Walk and optional dinner out at the local pub, or back at the accommodation
Breakfast at your leisure......
8.30am - 1 hour Beach Workout!
11.30am - Guided Trail Run, or Nordic Walk if you prefer.
1.30pm - Lunch and refuel
3pm - Navigation Exercises
5pm - Navigation Team Relay
6.45am - WAKE UP RUN!
Breakfast at your leisure.....
8.30am - Pilates Stretch Session
10am - Beach games/activities...to inlcude power kite flying, sea kayaking and other fun stuff to keep you warm and get the heart rate up a little! Some kit will be provided or feel free to bring your own
1pm - Lunch and refuel
2pm - Holyhead Mountain Guided Walk
4pm - Hometime!
The cost includes 2 nights accommodation and 2 full days of professionally led activities. Whilst the basics will be provided for you, this is a self catered weekend - so you'll be making use of the facilities to make your own food and drinks, and will need to bring your own goodies.
