This was my first trail race and it definitely won’t be the last, found it tough but enjoyable and will be doing it again next year. I would highly recommend this race and the organisation was great.
Fabulous Route
I enjoyed a great, but challenging day out exploring this well-planned and marshalled route. The event was very well organised and run - credit to Outfit for the very visible safety support. I appreciated the accessible cut-off time.
Loved it. My first ever trail event and I can't wait to do it again next year (when my legs work again)
Awesome event, beautiful route & great for all levels of runners.
Challenging, hilly , loved it can’t wait to do it next year
Brilliant
Great race. And the rain stayed away.
Fantastic, well organised, loved it!
Brilliant marshals, route was marked well, probably would have felt a bit nervous doing it on my own (and would have wanted more marshals) but brilliant to do with a friend.
Very tough, challenging and thoroughly enjoyable
Really well planned route, taking in plenty of the diverse terrain that the Peak District is famous for, with great views (when you get the right weather).
Well organized, friendly and encouraging team, a proper trail running event.
Challenging
I was runner 135 and was just down as runner. Very disappointing
Really enjoyable event
There was a lot of tape to guide runners. The info or brief didn’t mention this, but it was really helpful and appreciated. Was slightly worried about having to navigate. Thanks also for keeping the rain off! A really enjoyable event and route. Thank you
I had a cracking day!
This was my first organised trail run. I had a great time and thought it well organised and communicated.
Great challenging route but very enjoyable
Worth the travel to use this route for training runs.
Absolutely stunning
Great work
Perfect Sunday!
Bit hilly, long way to go but great race and so well organised from booking to crossing the line.
Great race with excellent marshalling and organisation. Stunning scenery and great for newbies to fell/ trails
Fab race and really enjoyed it.
Bit disappointed that for the fee there was no water or food provided at the end, a banana or flapjack would have gone down a storm! Understand the cafe is there but there was a big queue and for £40 for the race I’d expect some food/ a drink at the end. But excellent race thank you and would recommend.
Fantastic
Great well organised even. Easy markers to follow and marshals on route. Thanks
A beautiful trot around the Cheshire hills
Lots of hard climbs and equally tough descents. Limited aid stations but we were able to carry everything we needed, just a quick water top up at the cat and fiddle.
Well organised with very friendly Marshalls and a fairly easy route to follow, which was well marked
Event was advertised as accessible to runners of most abilities. It was an intense run with hard climbing, and I believe it should have been advertised to experienced trial walkers/ramblers
Would have been nice to have had some refreshments after crossing the finish line
