Excellent, thanks, highly recommended, excellent volunteers and staff.
2 minor improvements would be checking and advising more accurate distances between checkpoints to aid planning and secondly don't state results will be available on a specific day (sunday) as it is frustrating they have not been posted (tuesday).

Amazing event
First of all thank you very much for a fantastic event.
The only criticism I have is of the food provided at the checkpoints. The cakes were lovely but it seemed to be the same thing at each of them - cakes, biscuits, sweets. By the time I got to the 3rd checkpoint I was hoping for something else, more of a variety and didn't want anything else sweet. More savory options sandwiches, soup, sausage rolls, pizza etc. I know other competitors were saying the same.
Ideally it would have been good to have just 1 more check point. As time went on and I got slower it seemed a very long time between them.
All of this meant for the last 8 hours I felt very hungry and was walking on an empty tank.
Having this, it has not put me off and Im already thinking of entering again for next year.
Just a quick question on the mileage. I was given a distance as 65 miles to Pool Quay. On the details you sent out about the checkpoints this is listed as 63 miles. On the map I downloaded from your website and the official Offa's Dyke website this location is at 68.6 miles so just wondered which is correct.
Would you consider doing a 24 hours North starting from Chepstow?
Thanks again for everything at the weekend and I hope to see you again next year.

Brutal but beautiful
What a day out on a beautiful trail. Will definitely be back for 2027. Very friendly staff and volunteers at CP’s were very helpful.
My only improvement comment would be some better comms about CP food. I was expecting maybe some small sandwiches.
Next year I will have better drop bags for the CP’s
Overall, a mega challenge, great value for money. Well done Outfit
A fantastic race format to really push yourself to your limits
Specific positives about this event are that its an outstandingly beautiful route with incredible views and variety of terrain, also it is excellent value for money and well managed during the race - for example having on 2 extra water stops on the day due to the temperatures.
As a first timer it would have been helpful to have more accurate information about checkpoint food provision and to know that most people send a drop-bag to each of the CPs whereas I'd naively only prepared one!
Would definitely recommend.

Great event on the day with great community feel
Talking to the other runners I could tell this is one that has people returning year after year and has that great community vibe. The race is set up perfectly and loved the care of adding the extra cp at mile 12.
My constructive feedback would be that as a 1st timer I didn't feel this vibe until race day. There was no community chat in the lead up I could find that could help me get to know the other runners which I found a shame.
If you wanted to take this race to the next step and make it larger (and I say 'if' because I think the community feel of this one is already fantastic as it is) then a. a more effective title is probably needed (bit of a mouthful) and b. a usp. For me this USP could be the gap between cp4 and 5. This section was brutal yet achievable and for many of the runners I was with this weekend it was about whether they could or could not make it to Forden.
Anyway I hope this info is useful. Thank you to the organisers and volunteers. This race was great and has so much going for it. Great checkpoints, great energy, great course. Would definitely recommend

Great route, friendly organisers.
I would have preferred a bit more communication in the months before the event, but it was all good, lovely people, the route is well worth doing.
The weather was SO HOT this year!

Challenging.
Overall enjoyable. My only gripe would be it would be useful to have more information about the checkpoints before we started. Checkpoint 2 was outside, when it was planned to be inside. If there was a change this could have been announced at the beginning. The signage to the checkpoint off the route (CP 4 and 5) were difficult to see - particularly in the dark. Checkpoint 5 was a significant distance from Forden. I know you gave a reference for the location but it would have been helpful to have some more notes (like the helpful notes about the Aquaduct). Hope these comments are helpful for future plans.

Good course, great support staff. Could have done with a bit more signage for the checkpoints

Inclusive challenge - you can do it!
You’ll get out of it what you put in - a great friendly team with amazing supporters made sure we all had an incredible experience.

Tough but Stunning course
A tough route but entirely up to you what pace you move at and how far you go so suitable for any ability, plenty of hills but no super technical terrain. Really well organised, super friendly atmosphere and stunning scenery. Thanks Outfit

Another great event!
Awesome guys. Nice work.
Fantastic friendly event, very well organised
This is a friendly event set in some stunning scenery. Highly recommended.
A brilliant event, well organised and very friendly. The route is amazing and challenging enough to make it feel like an adventure. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Will be back next year!
9 out of 10 score due to some problems with GPS tracker and the GPX file. Once you get this sorted it will be a 10 out of 10 event.

Well organised but challenging race.
The staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Great team of people.
I came into the race a little naive as to the severity of the terrain, especially on the first leg which I guess could have been explained better before the race but I could/should have also researched it myself beforehand, but all in all it was a great experience (albeit a painful one!).
