I absolutely loved this event! It was so well organised, and everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly to both Duke and me, especially as it was our first time at an Outfit event. The route was really well marked and marshalled, with stunning views that made the hills feel totally worth it.

As a cani-crosser, an earlier start would have been even better given the heat. At the first stile, I needed a little help lifting Duke over — so a heads-up about those is always useful! And it’s really helpful to know in advance if there are sheep around. It’s not usually an issue, as we keep to the line, but some dogs can be super reactive.
